Can I do correspondence B.Ed from Annamalai University?

Asked about Annamalai University (Distance Education), Tamil Nadu - Discontinued(September,2024)-Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

I have done my MA from IGNOU but I don't have any teaching experience.

    Candidates should have undergone 10+2+3 (15) or 11+1+3 (15) pattern of study and passed qualifying examinations conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education/Exam and UG Degree Exam of the UGC Recognized Universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the Directorate of School Education at the Secondary/ Higher Secondary Educational Level.

    Eligibility Criteria for doing B.Ed is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent
    OR
    Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. or B.E. with specialization in Science and Mathematics or equivalent (Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelors Level or Masters Level)
    5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as applicable.
    Some institutes conduct entrance exam where as in some institutes You can even apply directly for admission.A few good universities are: Delhi University, Delhi,

    Yes, you can do B. Ed from Annamalai University. No teaching experience is required for B.Ed.

    For pursuing B.Ed from Annamalai University you need to have work experience as a regular teacher in primary, middle, secondary or higher secondary schools in Tamilnadu, recognized by State / Central government.
