Qualification for the NET exam is a minimum of 55% in postgraduation for unreserved category and 50% for the reserved category. So, you are eligible to do it.

Yes, you can apply for CSIR entrance, if you have a good grip of concepts. It wouldn't be difficult. Eligibility for applying to net entrance is masters, so can give it a try. All the best.

The National Testing Agency is expected to conduct the June session UGC NET exam 2026 in the last week of June. The whole schedule will be announced on the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The notification is likely to be announced in the April 2026.
