Diploma after class 10th is not a bad option, but to be honest is turning out to be tough and competitive in all the long run of IT jobs and I have come across most of the incidents where people land up going for an option of lateral entry B.Tech after completing their diplomas to fetch job opportunities for themselves. But, it is not like chances do not exist with Diploma at all, there are some chances, but the better and best ones are with degree. Even while applying for the jobs at any online portal for a software developer most of the organizations mention eligibility criteria as degree holders like B.Tech CSE or B.Tech IT or BCA.

After 12th there is much competition for admission in colleges, due to which students fail to get admission in interested f
