Can I do engineering? I have scored less percentage in class 12th.

There are lot of private colleges, which offer engineering even though you have less marks. Opting for engineering in local colleges is not worthy. Try to get into any Polytechnic, and then try for best engineering colleges through lateral entry scheme. After completing your Diploma, you can pursue Bachelor of engineering or Bachelor of technology by applying through lateral entry scheme. Lateral entry students can directly enter into the second year of engineering. No need to study again from the start. Also, if you do Polytechnic, then you will be getting more practical knowledge and skills. You can apply and use those ideas, which will help you to get a right career. Most of the engineering students, nowadays lack the practical skills and ability to work. This is because, our engineering curriculum is mainly based on theoretical studies rather than practical. But, Diploma is bit different. You will be given practical exposure in the 3 years of Diploma. Trending verticals in Diploma are mechanical, electrical, computer science etc.
