Yes, you can do it. M.Ed or Master of Education is a master degree course that deals with the study of new methods of teaching and educational research whereas Ph.D. is a terminal academic degree
UGC has agreed to a proposal to allow students to pursue two-degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the usual mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online.

Yes, you can succeed. Ph.D. is a terminal academic degree, whereas M.Ed or Master of Education, is a master's degree course that deals with the study of novel teaching methods and educational research. The UGC has approved a proposal that will let students simultaneously enrol in two degree programmes. One of the degrees must be earned in the regular mode, and the other may be earned online or through open and remote learning.
