Can I do M.Sc. In mathematics after B.Tech with Electronics and communication branch?

"Candidates who have completed graduation with minimum 50% w English and Mathematics as major subjects are eligible to pursue a postgraduate degree in mathematics". If this criteria is followed, then only, M.Sc. Is possible in Maths.
