Yes, you can do. M.Tech. Environmental Engineering is a 2-year full-time postgraduate course, the minimum eligibility for which is B.E. /B.Tech. Or equivalent degree with a minimum score of 60%. Yes, of course you can apply, because according to the eligibility conditions Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes can also apply. Eligible for M.Tech course because the criteria of M.Tech course is: 1) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes. 2) Master’s degree holder in any branch/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes. 3) Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master degree programme (Post-B.Sc ). In Engineering/ Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/ Technology. As per the above criteria you can easily apply for M.Tech after M.Sc in Chemistry. Since Chemistry is a division of Science hence you can definitely apply for the examination.
