Can I do MA from economics after B.Com from any university?

I am a B.Com degree holder and want to do MA in economics, am I eligible?

General eligibility for M.A. Economics is as below: B.A. (Hons) in Economics subject A minimum aggregate score of 50% at the level of graduation. The eligibility criteria may differ from college to college where for some universities, admission procedure is entrance exam. For some it is Merit based.
