Hi,
Always remember, you should pursue a course based on your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long-term career goals.
After B.Tech, you have two options:
1) You may opt for M.Tech if you wish to study the technical aspect of the branch.
2) You may pursue MBA if you wish to move your career towards management line.
You have another option with you, i.e.,
You may plan to work in private or public sector industries of various types. After gaining a valuable work experience of a year or two you may finally get a clear picture about your interest area, whether to go with the technical course (M.Tech) or management course (...more -
Hello,
MBA is a requirement in organizations to work in various departments of managements. Due to these various departments of management, a specific related MBA specialization is required. So, after your B.Tech you can decide a specialization of work in which you are mostly interested and excited to work.
To boost your career in related management work, you will need to pick a related specialization to pursue your MBA to work in that related field of management work.

Dear,
Getting into the MBA with either an engineering degree or a pure science or an arts background is considered an advantage by many experts. The class as a collective is diverse in its prior learning.
The diversity adds to problem solving skills and a plurality of perspectives. The learning at Post Graduate level in a B-School is collective, hence the importance of different ideas and approaches that each student brings to the table.

MBA after B.Tech is a very good career switch option for those who do not want to pursue engineering and technical career. After MBA, you will become a generalist and may get better position, salary & perks. However, nowadays companies have started recognizing technical talent and they are equally paid well. As a technical resource, you can continuously learn by facing challenges and finding innovative solutions. If you are technically oriented then it is better to become a technical expert than a generalist. You may choose your career switch after a lot of deliberations.
