Can I do my M.Tech in CSE without applying for GATE?

My score in CSE 8th semester is 548 I have done my engineering from guru GNDECB from vtu.

    No, because without GATE score no college is allowed to give admission for M.Tech.

    It seems impossible to do M.Tech. Without appearing GATE. To be eligible to get admission anywhere in India, you need to qualify the cutoff marks for GATE. Apart from GATE. Many private institutes have their own examination and also interviews. Take GATE as compulsory exam for entering M.Tech.

    Without qualifying GATE, you will not get M.Tech admission in any of the colleges in India. You should appear for GATE and qualify the exam with cutoff marks.

    GATE is the best gateway for pursuing M.Tech from a reputed engineering college like IITs, NITs and state engineering colleges. Private engineering colleges like VIT, LPU, Chandigarh University, SRMIST and Manipal University, etc. are the other options for pursuing M.Tech courses. However, these universities will conduct their own entrance exams for M.Tech. Therefore, it is advisable that the entrance exam is must for M.Tech courses so why not prepare for GATE. Because this will be beneficial for other exams also.
