Can I do polytechnic after 11th because this year I have missed the entrance exam?

Polytechnic or Diploma courses are for those students who are not able to afford high fees of regular technical colleges or due to some reason unable to take admission but don't want to waste their time. You can take admission in polytechnic after class 10th or class 12th. After class 10th, it will be of three years and after 12h it will be of two years. If you want to do engineering, but unable to take admission in any engineering college, you can go for it after polytechnic, as polytechnic students can take admission in engineering courses in direct second year after completion of their course through lateral entry. But, for that you need to score at least 60% marks in your polytechnic, then only you will be eligible to write any test for lateral entry. And also, your age after completion of your course must not be more than 25 years.
