Can I do projects in the campus which are not a part of my academics there?

Can I invent something & get it patented using resources of college? I have an idea of a drone and want to build it just for myself. Will the lab resources be made accessible to me for that?

Yes, you can do projects here. There are many clubs and technical societies that do such kind of projects: ANANT working on satellite, ACYUT and Robocon working on robotics, BAJA designing and making sports car. Startup culture also supports lot of initiatives. There is entrepreneurship cell here. S

Hi there, I guess you can do the projects which aren't the part of the academics at the campus but that would not be counted for the partial fulfillment of the evaluative project of the degree. You can do it for the sake of learning and even you can present the project at some event or competitions.
