Can I do self study for ITIL v3 foundation certification exam and sit for the exam?Can you suggest a good study book?

I am B.sc(Hons) in Geography(47%),ANIIT(70%),certified SAS base programmer(88%), certified OCA in oracle 10g (84%),Senior Certificate in GErman Language(50%). I have 1 yr BPO experience in German language BPO. I am interested in working in database domain/data analyst.nt working 4 past 2 yrs.
