It only depends on your dedication level. If you think you can stay focused for another year and believe yourself then you should drop a year and try again. But if you are doubtful then I suggest you not to drop and waste time and not be focused as it will not benefit you in any way.

Not that I am sure about it but if you are really good at what you are doing then it does't matter how many times you dropped for engineering entrances.

It depends on you. If you have the potential that you can crack JEE Mains in next attempt then you should and you can judge your potential by this year's JEE Mains scorecard.
