    Fashion designing is a great career for the people with creative streak.
    LPU offers two program in Fashion Design
    1) B.Sc. (Design - Fashion) 3 yrs. (6 Semesters)
    2) B.Design (Fashion) 4 yrs. (8 Semesters)
    The eligibility is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent for both the programs.
    Some salient features of the program are:

    Yes, you can get admission in this course. As the university has more than 200 courses, each course has some eligibility criteria to take admission. For fashion designing there are two courses B.SC fashion designing and B.Design fashion design. Both the courses have eligibility criteria that you should have 60% aggregate marks in 12th and English as compulsory subject.     Dear Student, Yes, you can apply for Fashion Designing, after 12th at LPU. LPU offers 2 different courses under fashion designing, 1. B.Sc. (Design - Fashion) Duration : 3 yrs. (6 Semesters) Eligibility for the course is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent .
    2. B.Design (Fashion) Duration : 4 yrs. (8 Semesters) Eligibility Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent.

    LPU offers more than 250 programmes including fashion designing.
    LPU floats:
    1. B.Sc. (Design - Fashion)- 3 years (6 semesters)
    2. B.Design (Fashion)- 4 years (8 semesters)
    The eligibility is:
    60% with English
    Relaxation:
    1.) 5% to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
    2.) 10% to outstanding Sports Persons (i.e. A/A+ category), Subject to verification from Selection committee*.
    Note:- In case of both only one relaxation is to be given."
    Due to current scenario prevailing - admissions are ongoing through online mode for upcoming academic session 2020-21.

    Yes, you can pursue fashion designing in LPU. There are two options for you- B.Sc and B.design.

    * Yes, you can enroll for Fashion Designing programme after 12th class provided you meet the admission and eligibility criteria of the same.

    Yes, of course you can opt for fashion designing courses in LPU after class 12th.
    LPU offers 2 types of degrees in fashion after 12th.
    1. B.Sc (Fashion designing) - 3 years
    2 B.design (Fashion Designing)- 4 years

    Hello,
    As per my knowledge, the admissions are going on in LPU for fashion designing. LPU offers Fashion designing course for B.Design as well as B.Sc design. Primarily, B.Design is consists of 4 years whereas B.Sc design consists of 3 years. So, after fulfilling the eligibility criteria, i.e. securing 60% in 12th English, you can proceed with taking admission.
    The last date to avail admission is 30th April 2020. The same can be done through online by logging nest.lpu.in
