Yes, mathematics is necessary for the course counting it in best four might not be a necessity, but studying Maths is essential. Rest, you may enquire in university.

You do require having studied maths in class 12th, if you wish to pursue B.Com hons.

Hi, It is necessary to have Maths as a subject to get admission in B.Com(Hons.) according to Delhi University guidelines. If you are still unsure you can download the brochure of Hansraj College and also Delhi University so that you are clear about the same. Good luck.
