Can I enroll my nephew in state board upto 5th std then enroll him in CBSE in 6th std? Is this good?

I want to enroll my nephew in cbse board but some suggest me to enroll him in state board upto 5th std then shift to cbse in 6th std . will dis move make him confused to study or will be gud for him. As I heard all board syllabus in india are same upto 5th std then syllabus change acco. to board?

Its better to enroll him in CBSE board from starting because if you enroll him from 6th standard then he/she may face problem in english as in CBSE all the subjects are taught in english.
