Can I expect a call and probability of its conversion?

Asked about Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi - Master of Business Administration (MBA)

My scores: CAT-more than 97.5, 10th-87.4%, 12th-81.2% and B.Tech-6.87 GPA. I am a fresher.

    Your CGPA in B.Tech could pose a hindrance to early conversion. However, the rest depends on your performance in the GD PI round. So prepare well for it. Shortlisting till GD PI is very likely. You might have to wait for the second or third list for final conversion.

    Yes, you can expect a call. Study hard for the interview as around 1200 candidates are called for 120 seats. For interviews, anything from tell me about yourself to a real life situation can be asked. Focus a little more on extra circular activities as well. Just a small advice while applying to IIT-Delhi for MBA. Apply for both MBA (general) and MBA (Telecom) as it increases your chances to convert and both the courses are almost same except for 1-2 extra courses in Telecom. A lot of candidates now regret that why they didn't apply for MBA telecom as well. So, take an informed decision.
