Your CAT percentile doesnt always have to be the limiting factor in finding a good B-school. I found one and so are so many others who arent willing to give up despite the unlucky performance on CAT day.
I have applied to Sri Balaji Societys BIMM and other colleges which offer two year PGDM programme. in multiple specializations. they have 4 B-schools and 13 courses each of which is as good as the other(as per inputs from friends and alumni). I have applied to other B-schools too and look forward to get admission in at least one of these but what attracts me towards Sri Balaji Society is their placement. CAT is one of the accepting exams required for admission to PGDM programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants with a valid score in any other accepted entrance exams such as MAT, XAT or CMAT can also get admission in PGDM. Selected aspirants also have to pass the case-based group discussion and a personal interview round for final admission.
The CUSAT CAT passing marks for the BTech exam is 10 marks in maths and 10 marks in physics and chemistry combined. However, Kerala SC and ST candidates do not have a minimum passing mark.
