Can I expect a seat for IT with 5450 rank? Should I opt for MNNIT-IT if I don't get a seat here? This year, first round cutoff is 3750.

You will be able to get IT at this rank. That is almost sure in 2nd or 3rd round. But just in case you don't, then what option you get depends on the preferences you filled and what you can get from those. MNNIT is a very good option too, no doubt about that.

Yes, you can opt for the MNNIT if you are unable to get IT branch in IIIT-A, but I'll suggest you be patient and see wait for the last round of the counselling, you can get the admission in this college only.
