Operations executive profile may need a OJT and small period of experience, once you are conversant with procedures and most important situational awareness you will be first choice among all candidates.

Yes, you may. Fulfill a couple of eligibility requirements and you may get into it easily. But you must prepare for the interviews and the domains are poles apart.
