You need to appear for competitive exams to get in to various posts in central government departments. The aspirants have to attend and score well in the exams carried out by SSC or UPSC to get in to the same. This enables them to obtain jobs in centralized banks, telecom, military, educational sect

Yes, you can get a government job, but you have to appear in competitive exams like: UPSC, SSC, IBPS PO, etc.
There are many government jobs available in different sectors. In most of the competitive exams, the eligibility required is Bachelor degree. So, you can apply easily.
