Hi, The best option is Indian Engineering Services conducted by UPSC. After civil services, this is the most sought career. Yes, you are eligible for Indian Civil Services too but that won't utilise your engineering background. A combined three-stage competitive examination (comprising five tests),

You can appear for the GATE exam or become a JOC in the army.
