    Hi, The best option is Indian Engineering Services conducted by UPSC. After civil services, this is the most sought career. Yes, you are eligible for Indian Civil Services too but that won't utilise your engineering background. A combined three-stage competitive examination (comprising five tests), called the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) is conducted by the UPSC for recruitment to the Indian Engineering Services. IES remains to be the most sought-after careers for the engineering graduates in India.
