Yes you can, but chances may not be that great. The reason being some reputed companies consider your past academic scores and may question you about it. If you are able to give them a reasonable answer, then no problem. Anyways whatever happened, simply forget it and move on. Now focus more on the MBA entrance exams preparation. All the best!

Yes, academic records do matter but, not for all the companies, most of the companies don't care how good or bad your academic records are they only, observe your MBA academic record, your skill & of course your extra curricular activities like e. g. serving as a student coordinator for your institute, participation in various competitions and much more, However, some companies come on campus with a criteria like students who have scored throughout 60% & above in their educational life can only apply for the interview of the company. It totally depends on the company for which you are going to apply. Some companies shortlist candidates according to the 12th marks, some company use triple seven rule (70 percentage in 10th, 12th, UG and PG). Some only SEE your skills and set 60% marks as their criteria to select a candidate for an interview call. BBA+MBA would be a good career option.
