Can I get a lateral entry in 2nd year of B.Tech(ME) in BBD University, Lucknow?

Now I am doing my second semester of B.Tech from LPU, Punjab? I have some family issues so I want to take lateral entry in my own city Lucknow so I will be able to support my family.
