Can i get a little guidance in choosing a best software course which would fetch me a decent job ? android or .net in da present scenario ?

Hi, You can program Android using Java or C+. Java (the SDK) is the default but C+ is possible also (using the NDK). At the SDK and NDK level, Android is essentially not the same thing as Linux. Android is a good option.
Whereas if you opt .net then there are lots of job openings for the same.
