Can I get a seat in any of the government colleges like NITs or state government colleges with 55% in CBSE Board and 87% in JEE Mains?
I belong to ST category.

Hello Himanshu, if your boards percentage is less than 65% marks (minimum cut-off for SC and ST Candidates), I am sorry to say you cannot get into NITs, but I am not sure about the state government Colleges. You can try for them. -
It will be quite tough for you to get admission in government colleges with this bit of score. It might work, if you would belong to SC/ST/OBC category.
