Can I get a seat in any of the government colleges like NITs or state government colleges with 55% in CBSE Board and 87% in JEE Mains?

Hello Himanshu, if your boards percentage is less than 65% marks (minimum cut-off for SC and ST Candidates), I am sorry to say you cannot get into NITs, but I am not sure about the state government Colleges. You can try for them.

It will be quite tough for you to get admission in government colleges with this bit of score. It might work, if you would belong to SC/ST/OBC category.
