Hey Ajit, Your rank doesn't assure you of a seat in NIT or any other government college. You belong to general category so you will not get any benefit of category rank. Although you can apply for best private engineering colleges and appear for their entrance. You may even get scholarship based on your score in the exam. Some suggested universities -
