Can I get a seat through lateral entry in the second year of B.Tech at RGPV?

Eligible students must apply through the Madhya Pradesh State Scholarship Portal or the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Required documents include income certificates, caste certificates, and previous academic mark sheets. 

State students can apply for the Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana (MMVY) and Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY). Post-matric scholarships for SC, ST, and OBC categories are also available.

Main campus (UIT-RGPV) usually has higher cutoffs and better placement statistics. Some top-tier colleges like LNCT or SGSITS are highly reputable, but smaller private colleges may vary in quality.

RGPV's median package of INR 7.10 LPA is competitive compared to many private colleges in the region. Its status as a technical university often attracts core engineering companies.

The primary advantage is RGPV's extensive network and centralized placement cell, which provides students from various affiliated colleges access to major recruitment drives that smaller universities might lack.
