Hi. Yes some government college offer lateral entry. Image result for Can I get seat in lateral entry in B.Tech in civil engineering in government college. The candidate must have passed its 10+2 I. e. intermediate with a minimum of 50% marks and subjects should be Physics Chemistry and mathematics as the main subject. Diploma holders in the same civil engineering [Lateral Entry] can also pursue the programme to enhance their knowledge and skills.

2 years agoHello Pramita Satpathy, yes almost all the Government colleges and also engineering colleges in private arena offer admissions under lateral scheme for the students who have completed their Diploma in Engineering. Normally speaking the Director of technical Education of the concerned state conducts these admissions and in majority of the states across India the basis for admissions is marks obtained in Diploma examination.
