Can I get a work permit after studying in Germany?

Yes, Germany allows work permits to international students after completing their graduation from German universities. International students can apply for an extended 18-month post-study work permit to seek employment. However, students should ideally apply for their 18-month post-study work visa before the expiry of their student visa. The 18-month extended work period begins as soon as the candidates receive their final exam results, so they should start looking for employment during their final semester.
