Yes, you can get lateral entry in B.Tech i.e admission in 2nd yr.of B.Tech.
Universities like LPU, AU, SRM etc are providing direct admission in 2nd yr.to diploma students if they fulfill the eligibility criteria for direct admission.
Check their websites for more details.
