    BHU admission to most of the courses is entrance-based, hence it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams to get admission to BHU undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The university also accepts other entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Hence, aspirants need to appear for the accepted entrance-exam and also meet the course-specific eligibility for admission at BHU.

    BHU offers entrance-based admissions to all its UG and PG courses. To get admission to any UG and PG courses, it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams. Further, the university also accepts other entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Hence, candidates are required to appear for the accepted entrance-exam and also meet the course-specific eligibility for admission at BHU.

    BHU admission to most of the courses are entrance-based. Banaras Hindu University admission to the UG courses is based on valid CUET-UG scores. Apart from this, the university also accepts CUET PG entrance test scores for admission to various postgraduate courses such as MA, MSc, MCA, M.Lib.I.Sc., M.P.Ed., MFA and LLM, among others.

    No, you cannot be admitted to Banaras Hindu University (BHU) without taking the CUET Exam at both the Undergraduate and Post-graduation Levels. Admission to all UG Programmes of BHU will be done based on the Common University Entrance Test- Undergraduate 2024 [CUET (UG) – 2024] only, for the academic year 2024-25. BHU has adopted a Combined Allotment Programme for Undergraduate courses [CAP (UG) – 2024].
