Can I get admission at IIT Kharagpur without JEE?

My ST rank is 896 and I scored 89 marks in JEE Mains exam.

    No, admissions into IIT Kharagpur without the JEE entrance exam is not possible if the candidate wishes to take admission in the BTech course. For other course admissions, IIT Karagpur accepts other entrance exam scores. However, only candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for the BTech course on top of scoring a valid JEE score will be granted admissions into the IIT Kharagpur BTech course.

    No, all the IITs offer admissions on the basis of JEE Advanced score, not on JEE Mains score.

    Sorry, but for getting admission in IIT Kharagpur, you need to attempt and qualify JEE Advanced, and secure a great rank in that. You can give JEE Advanced only after qualifying JEE Main, but JEE Main marks/rank won't be used in admission.
