Can I get admission at IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology in B.Tech if my rank is between 5000 and 10000?

<p>This range is extremely near to the cut off rank of 6169 for the B.Tech. programme in Metallurgical &amp; Materials Engineering in Round 6. This was under the All India Quota for the general category. You cannot afford to receive a lower score than this unless the candidate falls into a different category or is a different resident. <p>The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering is 6169 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission at IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology.</p>
