NIT Surathkal is a public/government college. It was established in 1956. It is ranked 26th under the engineering category according to NIRF 2023. For taking admission in NIT Surathkal JEE Mains is taken by the candidate and the admission is based on the merit list released by the college. The Cut offf for taking admission in the NIT Surathkal falls under 24400 for general category and cutt off for SC/ST Category is around 2300, and for OBC Category it falls under 23500. IN 6th cut off rounds the last cutt off range was 2362. So, There are less chances that one can get admision with the rank between 23000-24000

The B.Tech in Civil Engineering ending rank from the previous year was 25078, which is extremely near to this range. This was for the All India Quota General category. One cannot afford to receive a lower score than this unless the candidate falls into a different category or is a resident of a different country. There is a chance of getting in with this rank but as the cutoffs vary every year, it is best to aim for higher ranks to improve your chances of getting accepted to the National Institute of Technology, or NIT Surathkal.

NIT Surathkal JEE Main Round 6 cutoff for Civil Engineering is 23632 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in NIT Surathkal.
