I have a B.Tech degree till 6th semester in mechanical engineering from JNU.

No, you can't get lateral entry in the 4th year because lateral entry only allows you to get admission in the very 2nd year of graduation in any college with certain criteria. So, you can't get admission in 7th semester in Symbiosis College.
