With 297 marks you may not get an admission in a government college. There are few colleges which may take admissions but by charging huge amounts of donations. So, if you are financially strong and interested in this stream then go for it. You can even take a year gap for NEET so that you can score more marks next year and get a govt. college. If not then there are many other career options too in medical stream like BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, etc.

Your results on entrance exams, such the NEET, will determine your admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery programme. If accepted, take into account options such as allied health sciences, B.Sc. nursing, BPT (physiotherapy), BAMS (ayurveda), or BPT (physiotherapy). These sectors provide a wide range of job options in healthcare and medical services, many of which are in great demand and have promising futures.
