    Candidates need to pass the entrance exam to secure their place for the course. The most common entrance for the same is AICET BDS. Other than this exam, there are exams like NEET, MU OET, DUMET, AIPMT and COMEDK.
    Further, the selection process is conducted as per the specific norms of the university. There are many universities which go for a counselling process for selection.
    Entrance Mode:
    The top entrance exams conducted for BDS degree are:
    AICET BDS: This test is conducted for admissions in the field of dental science for admission in the private colleges of Chhattisgarh. Questions from Physics, Botany, Zoology and Chemistry

No, students of commerce background can't directly secure admission in Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC). You must have cleared the 10+2 level exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and English as the compulsory subject. You must obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40% SC/ST, 45% OBC). Admission to the MBBS programme is on the basis of NEET UG score.
