LPU has relaxed the eligibility norms in this scenario of Covid-19. For majority of the programmes LPU NEST is not a mandate. Here I am sharing the eligibility criteria of applying for CSE programme I. e. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. Also, based on your percentage you can avail the scholarship benefits. Dear Rahul, Yes, you can get admission for CSE in LPU with 85% in 12th from UP board but you have to fulfill the other eligibilities as well for the same. You should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class with mandatory subjects English Maths and Physics. Moreover, you have to qualify for the either LPU NEST exam or should have a minimum of 85 percentile in the JEE Mains exam. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few parameters I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST, whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI.
