Can I get admission for M.Tech in bioinformatics without giving GATE exam?

Hello, GATE is necessary for pursuing M.Tech, if you aspire to get admission in esteemed college. But, still few colleges offer their own entrance exam. You can look for them. All the best.

Hi, GATE is important to take admission for M.Tech, but there are universities which take their own entrance for admission to M.Tech. So, you can go for that, if you don't want to appear for GATE, but I would suggest you to apply for GATE, then take admission for M.Tech Bioinformatics, as it has man

The problem is M.Tech is for entire biotech. Not for specific bioinformatics. And, I wish to achieve skills in target based software development in bioinfo only.
