Can I get admission for mechanical engineering in 2nd round of counselling? I have got 1639 rank in SASTRA entrance.

Hello Saravanan,
I think this is your rank under stream 2. As only the ranks till 778 are called in the first round counselling, in the second round of counselling, mostly the ranks till 1200 will be called. So, you cannot get admission at SASTRA University with this rank.
You may refer to www.sastra.edu for the details about the 2 and 3rd round of counselling.
