Can I get admission for mechanical engineering in SRM? What is its tuition fee? I have scored 97% in class 12th.

AS U GOT top in your academics you can try more than expected ( SRM) AND as per my opinion srm is costly try to write SRMJEE which leads to some wat fees exempt. -
See srm doesnot give fee rebate on basic of 12th marks.
There are two types of seats on srm :-
1 through srm councelling fee - 1.85
2 through direct admission fee - 2.50
So you will need to take admission directly
