Jee adv is utterly necessary for yu to be admitted in an IIT. To qualify for a free seat, you should have your parents' annual income below a lakh!!

For any IIT, a good rank in JEE Advanced is mandatory. So you need to perform well in that too to take admission in IIT gandhinagar. -
For admission into IITs, You have to qualify JEE Advanced. There's no other gateway of admission. -
