Can I get admission if I score well in CAT and perform very good in GD/PI? I have got 44% in my graduation and I belong to SC category.

It might be hard for you in some colleges. But in colleges where reservation is there you might have a shot. But getting a good CAT score will boost your profile. So Yes, performing very good in CAT will definitely take you to colleges GD/PI.

As per the CAT Eligibility Criteria 2016, candidates should have passed or should be in the final year of their Bachelor's Degree. The minimum criteria for students belonging to SC and ST to pursue MBA through most top colleges is 45% on aggregate in graduation from any stream. So it will be very difficult for you to obtain a GDPI calls from good colleges.

IIM Calcutta has only mentioned accepting GMAT score for admission into EMBA courses.

However, CAT is commonly accepted by other similar institutes for both MBA and MBAEx courses. Thus, candidates are advised to ask admission desk for confirmation on this question.
