If you are solely concerned about the IIMs then not. Otherwise, there are many other entrance tests for MBA like MAT, XAT and SNAP.

They are similar entrance tests like CAT but a bit easier. You have to check with the University or College regarding which test is acceptable to them for MBA admission.

All top MBA colleges require that you take at least one competitive exam like CAT, XAT, SNAP, MAT, GMAT, etc. There may be some courses which accept students without any of these exams but then they may not be competitive.

You can't get admission in colleges like IIMs but still there are B schools where CAT is not necessary. Best of luck.
