Almost every college provide admission through lateral entry if you start Diploma just after 10 you will have two Certificate I. e. Diploma and degree both withing a time span of 6 years wheres your friends will end up with degree. Eligibility for Diploma students to get admission through lateral entry. 1. Candidate must have completed 3 year Diploma course with at least 50% from a recognised board 2. Admission will be based on state entrance examination or college own examination. 3. You can take direct admission too. Diploma in mechanical engineering is a 3 year course. You can join Diploma course after your class 10.
