Can I get admission in a good college in Germany for M.Tech after having a backlog in B.Tech (chemistry) which was cleared in the first try?

My current CPI in B.Tech chemical engineering (till semester 5) is 7.80. I had one backlog in 3rd semester (mathematics) but was cleared in the first try. Is it still possible to get admission in a reputed college in Germany or Canada for M.Tech if I work hard and get good marks in GRE and IELTS?

You can, if backlog is cleared within the stipulated course duration, it does not matter. However, to ensure your student visa, your overall percentage should be more than 70%. Only if you have more number of backlog, then Canada will not accept more than 8 backlog. Germany will accept, if you would
