Can i get admission in a good medical college after doing 12th from NIOS ?

If i score good marks in 12th from NIOS can i get addmission in medical college . will they treat me same as other stateboard and cbse students are treated ?

    Hi Logesh,
    On the basis of 12th marksheet of NIOS you can apply for Medical colleges. Sr. Secondary certificate obtained form NIOS have the same recognition as certificates issued by other Boards like CBSE and ICSE in India.There are some universities who do not accept and there are some who accepts. However, if one has scored very good marks then he may be eligible for the higher studies in reputed Universities. One is eligible for the entrance tests conducted by the different Universities given the candidate fulfills the eligibility criteria but the final selection entirely depends on the norms set by the Universities.
