Can I get admission in an NIT? I belong to SC category. I scored 50 marks in JEE Mains 2017 and scored 62% in 12th.

It is not possible for you to get NIT as the minimum percentage for SC category candidate for NITs and IITs is 65%. Though you can try for GFTIs and still fill the choices for NITs too.

Hello Roshan, You can get NITs with a score of 50 but you need to have atleast 75% in board exams. So if you don't qualify that eligibility then you cannot get admission. All the best!
